HCS Convention Card Editor Version 5.1
The HCS Convention Card Editor is a WindowsTM
program that allows you to edit, save and print convention cards.
It produces the current ACBL card, finalized in March, 2002. The software
supports black and white as well as color printers.

Customize your convention cards easily using these features:
- create your own fields with different
fonts,
colors and sizes
- create your own check boxes anywhere on the card and change their border and fill color
- choose from 3 different styles for the check boxes - filled in,
an 'x' or a check mark
- choose the border color for the checked boxes - either the original color on the card or black
- choose the fill color for the checked boxes - either the original color or the pen color
- print the suit symbols on the card anywhere you like
- remove fields you don't use to make the card less cluttered and easier to read
- print dashes around the outside of the card to make it easier to cut the
card with scissors or a paper cutter to fit into a convention card holder
- when printing to a black and white printer, choose whether or not to
shade the red and blue fields on the card
Other outputs:
- print the back of the convention card with the IMPs scales and
scorekeeping area
- print a specially-designed Swiss teams style scorekeeping card

Hardware and System Software
- The minimum configuration this software has been tested is
486 25mHz processor with 8mb of memory. This does not mean it will
not work on a lesser configuration, only that it has not been tested.
- Windows XP or Windows95/98 or WindowsNT. Testing on Windows Vista has not yet been done.
- a printer that can print different size characters - this software
will work with most Laser, InkJet, Bubble Jet and dot matrix printers
- supports black and white as well as color printers
You may download a demo version of the convention card editor that has all
functionality except the ability to save and restore convention card files.
